On March 12, Tang Qiaoqiao - President of CHEC, met with Ahmed Saeed, Global Vice-President of Asian Development Bank (ADB) via a video link. Relevant people of CHEC engineering management department, Safety and quality management department, Commercial law and compliance department as well as South Pacific regional center were also present.
Mr. Tang expressed welcome for the video visit of Ahmed Saeed and his team. He reviewed the cooperation history between CHEC and ADB in the South Pacific region and expressed his gratitude to ADB for its CHEC support.. He also said, CHEC would continue to execute contracts with high quality, actively participate in the infrastructure construction of island countries in the South Pacific region, and constantly consolidate CHEC’s good reputation in the infrastructure market of these island countries.
Mr. Ahmed Saeed on his part introduced the representatives of ADB who attended the meeting. He pointed out that ADB has cooperated with CHEC in a number of projects in the South Pacific region, which are playing an important role in the field of infrastructure construction of island countries.. He expressed expectations that the two sides could carry out more extensive cooperation in more areas on the basis of the sound cooperation in the existing projects.
Besides, the two sides also had an in-depth exchange of views on the implementation of specific projects under construction, the resumption of work and entry of workers to the construction sites of relevant projects.
