The Sudan Livestock Wharf Project is located on the shore of the Red Sea in northeastern Sudan. It is a modern professional livestock transport terminal jointly developed by the China Harbour and the Port Authority of Sudan. It has a docking capacity of 20,000 tons and an annual handling capacity of 7.1 million. The total investment of the project is nearly 100 million US dollars, and China Harbour holds 49% of the shares, and undertakes the construction of the project EPC. The project was completed and put into operation in 2018, breaking the bottleneck of the development of Sudan's live livestock export business, and will greatly boost the ability of Sudan to earn foreign exchange and economic development.
